IF YOU ENCOUNTER ANY PROBLEMS OR A NON RESPONSIVE DEVICE SIMPLY HOLD SLEEP AND HOME BUTTON 
SAME TIME UNTIL DEVICE TURNS OFF AND THE APPLE LOGO COMES UP THEN LET GO PROBLEM SOLVED.


FIRST: (Recommend that you keep plugged in and set timed lock from 1minute to never)

1. CONNECT JAILBROKEN DEVICE TO ITUNES 

2. SELECT MANUALLY MANAGE MUSIC AND VIDEOS (ONLY)

3. GO TO APPS TAB AND DESELECT SYNC APPS

4. SYNC

5. MOVE TO STEPS BELOW





STEPS TO GET BASIC RESOURCES ON JAILBROKEN DEVICES (Turn WiFi ON)

1. Open cydia and go to search

2. Search and install afc2add (Must have)
	this allows you to access the filesystem of the device from your computer
	so to easily modify your device.

3. Add sources (Have access to third party applications ie more stuff)

	a. go to Cydia->Manage->Sources->edit->add then type in these 4 must have sources:
	b. If you get errors, try again.

4. Search and install appsync for your firmware eg. 4.1, 4.2.1 etc.
	This makes you sync jailbroken device in itunes

5. Search and install Installous 4
	This allows you to install full version apps without paying.

6. Search and install Winterboard
	This allows you to customize the look and feel of the device.

7. Search and install Cydelete
	This allows you to quickly delete cydia apps right from the springboard

8. Search and install SBSettings
	This is a quick task manager access of the device. 
	To access the task manager slide at top of device from left to right.


9. Search and install zToggle
	
	a. This allows you to set an image as the lockscreen wallpaper, homescreen wallpaper
	or both.
	
	B.  Allows you to turn on/off Multitasking (When enabled all apps you open will keep running which loads apps instantly)
	
	Double tap home button to show all the apps that are running
	This shows all the apps you have opened up and easy move to one or the other
	Use SBSettings->process to close app and free memory.





HOW TO USE zTOGGLE 

1. Open zToggle and turn on Multitasking or Wallpaper or Both.

2. After Respringing go to any photo and set as lockscreen or homescreen wallpaper or both.





WHERE TO DOWNLOAD WALLPAPERS

1. Go to http://idesigniphone.com/ to search and download wallpapers to computer

2. Save images to a folder on computer

3. Open iTunes go to Photos tab and select Sync photos from and select the folder

4. Sync and finish.





HOW TO USE SBSETTINGS

1. Open SBSettings->Set Toggles and turn on Brightness, Processes and WiFi and any other if needed.

2. SBSettings->Dropdown Window Theme and select the theme you like.

3. SBSettings->System Options and select Numeric Battery (Shows battery power in %)

3. Press Home button. Finish. 

4. To see SBSettings slide your finger at top of bar left to right or vice versa.

5. Here you can easily adjust the toggles you turned on earlier.

6. If your device is running slow just activate SBSettings and click processes and delete the unwanted apps running and/or tap FREE UP MEMORY.

USE OF INSTALLOUS

1. Installous->Home->Settings-> and ensure first three are on.

2. Browse/Search then download and finish.


SSH INTO YOUR DEVICE

1. Go to http://apptrackr.org/ 

2. Search for app and download to desktop

3. Install and Open iPhoneBrowser on computer 

4. Copy and paste .ipa file into 
	var/mobile/library/downloads (iPod Touches)

	var/mobile/documents/installous/downloads (iPhones)

5. Open installous->downloads then click install and finish.





STEPS TO CUSTOMIZE YOUR DEVICE (CHANGE THE LOOK AND FEEL)

METHOD 1 (Use of Cydia)

1. Open up cydia

2. Go to Sections->themes or Go to search and search for specific theme, tweak or Mod.

3. Install your themes/tweeks/mods etc

4. Winterboard->select theme-> press home button


METHOD 2 (Use of Computer)

1. Go to http://www.ithemesky.com/

2. Download and unrar theme of choice and SSH it into your idevice.

3. To SSH, open iPhoneBrowser and drag and drop theme folder into: 

4. Var/Stash/Themes

5. Go to Winterboard->Select theme->press home button.

1. Install and open iFile

2. Go to Var/Mobile/Library/Dreamboard

3. Click Edit

5. Click the Recycle Bin and delete file

6. Respring and done.





LIVE WEATHER ON SPRINGBOARD

TYPE 1

1. Cydia->search->Animated Weather

2. Select "SBAnimated Weather" in Winterboard and finish.

3. To change the location for the weather use iFile

4. iFile->Var->Stash->Themes->Selected Theme->locationHere.js->Edit

5. Replace the location code between "" with location of choice.

1. Cydia->search->HTC Weather Animated

2. Open PerPage from springboard

3. Choose HTCAniPPH then set it as page one

4. Respring then open iFile

5. Go to Var/Mobile/Library/PerPageHTML/HTCAniPPH/configureMe.js

6. Make the following changes
 
	Click edit then where it says var locale = "CAXX0054" replace with your zip code
	in between the quotation marks

	Change var useRealFeel = false to true
	
	Change var showForecast = false to true
	
	At the bottom where it says var showWeatherAni = false change it to true.

7. Save, press home button and respring.

8. With Gridlock installed, move the apps to show the weather on the springboard. Done.

	Enables your device to bluetooth to other non-apple devices. Built-in on does not do this.

	Change the Font of your system from Times New Romans to any other font.

	Move any app on the springboard to any point on the springboard in any order you want.

14. MultiIconMover
	Allows you to move multiple apps at once on the springboard

15. Remove Background and (Remove Background SBSettings - Optional SBSettings addon)
